Who We Are
The MaeWood Grouop is a parent coaching service that helps you support your child to become responsible at home, which helps foster success in school. When children become responsible at home they carry that responsibility into the classroom. We understand the need to help you and your family as your children enter and progress through the early stages of their educational journey.
How We Do It
We provide one-on-one and group sessions:

First Session: $175
Sessions 2, 3, and 4: $150 per session
Sessions 5, 6, and 7: $125 per session
During our first meeting together we will develop a plan to match your family needs and fit your family budget.
Sessions Include:
Individual Guidance
We help parents individually and in group seminars; In person or virtually.
Children's Literature
We provide children's literature to support social-emotional learning strategies and language development.
Parent Tool Kit
Our Parent Tool Kit includes various resources that help your child meet classroom expectations to improve behavior along with reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

The most important gift we can give the children for their lifetime is an education that begins at home. My name is Edythe Horne, and I am the CEO of the MaeWood Group, a company that believes that school success starts at home.

I am a retired public school educator and administrative team leader with 40 years of serving the youngest school community members here in Westchester County.
My education training and servant leadership training have prepared me to work with:
